At The Douglas Company, we build places where people live, where they go to heal, and where they sleep -- where their lives unfold around them. We work collaboratively alongside owners and architects to design and build high-quality Multifamily and Senior Living communities across the Midwest and Southeast. Combined with early involvement and our industry-leading expertise, this team-approach has allowed us to deliver the best-price solution for our clients, time and time again. We work with owners that want to spend their time thinking about running their communities, while we bring their vision to life – on-time and on-budget. We provide highly-involved preconstruction and construction management services, guiding our clients from concept to completion. As a 100% employee-owned company, every single member of our team is fully-invested in every project's success. We aren’t just another commercial general contractor, we're your building-partner that’s in it for the long haul.
Best Price Solution – Our clients must have the right amenities, features, and systems included in their projects. However, when design occurs in a vacuum, overdesign tends to happen, particularly in the engineered systems. Following our process and working closely with both the owner and the architect, The Douglas Company can provide everything the client wants, for the best value possible.
Peace of Mind – Our clients invest a lot of money in their projects and they take on huge risks, signing multi-million dollar loans. The Douglas Company provides our clients peace of mind in knowing they have a trusted partner controlling every aspect of their risk; delivering a quality project, on-time, and within budget.
Development Planning and Leadership – This is important because our clients don’t do physical development on a daily basis; we do. The systems and processes we've developed over years of experience are what make our client's projects a success.

At The Douglas Company, we believe a core purpose is not who you aspire to be, but rather who you are at your foundation. It's the strength that every other aspect of the build relies on. As construction professionals, we know a thing or two about strong foundations. At our foundation, The Douglas Company's core purpose is to contribute to the success of our clients and associates. Everything that we do comes down to being a resource and a collaborative partner for both our clients and our employee-owners.
